Well done mate. When was your deadline for the questionnaire that you have just completed? Just trying to gage how many days after the deadline you’ve been notified of the next stage
That won’t give you any indication to when you’ll hear back mate. It’s a waiting game and we’ve just got to be patient. I’m in the same boat. Going from past experience I think there’s a good possibility they could be doing it by depot.

Unsure about VSE practice tests, but you can buy SJT practice tests from the OPC for £6.99. Let us know if you find some VSE practice material anywhere please :D
I thought about this, however the OPC SJT doesn’t provide you with correct or incorrect answers. So there’s no way of knowing wether the answers you’re giving are correct or not

I suppose there are no “correct answers” when it’s based in your own judgement… Some advice I was given was “answer as you should, not as you would”.

Question for anybody here who hopefully has any information. I passed the VSE and the M7ST in December with my application for Freightliner. Do you think I will have to sit them again? The OPC ran the assessments for Freightliner as well. Obviously I will email the OPC and enquire if I’m selected for the next stage.

excellent well done! I'm worried now I prioritized drivers equipment over everything in the test I'm now second guessing the answer, what did you priorities?
No I didn't put drivers personal equipment as priority, I think I picked the "least" option.

So how do I prepare for the VSE and M7, any practice materials? any advice?
The email should provide you with a few practice materials themselves. I most certainly did back in October.

I've been told that the VSE and M7ST results aren't kept on record and that only the psychometrics are, so on this occasion you would have to do them again. If they were kept on record though then it would depend on your results and whether or not they were also good enough for Avanti's enhanced standards.

Also on a note for everybody, you absolutely do not need to purchase any practice material because the emails you receive should provide some for you. The only practice material you might benefit from buying is a group bourdon dot tests because you can actually learn to get better at doing that. The rest of the tests are all about assessing your natural ability. Furthermore, consider yourselves lucky that you've all been contacted so quickly. Back in October I waited two to three weeks to even receive the questionnaire and from then it was 7-10 working days between tests. Trust me, if you made it this far, whether you're successful or not, you will know sooner or later.

Thank you, may I ask are the practice papers similar to the actual one. I have heard from people that part 3 of VSE is much harder than the practice ones, your input?

Brilliant thank you, I suppose I’ll find out pretty soon.

The practice materials are not the same as the actual test itself, however they are designed with the same goal in mind, and that is to test your ability to multitask and prioritise certain tasks over the others. I used the practice material given to me and the timer on my phone and I managed. It's kind of hard to describe the test here, but a few Google searches of the Visual Search Exercise should give you enough information to know what's expected of you, and the email inviting you to complete the assessment itself should explain things as well. Oh, and part 3 certainly is the trickiest part, but you are allowed to make some mistakes, and as long as you keep a clear head and recover quickly from any trip ups then you should be fine.

I think someone else replied to this post. I asked opc about how long tests are scored and saved. The woman on the phone said 6 months for these particular tests and years for the other depending on company. Like you I also completed these for freightliner I know there will conflicting information. Like others I'm waiting on a email. You can phone opc and ask direct they are vague with personal information but will try and help as best they can.

Well done to people receiving emails already best of luck.

So the online questionnaire/assessments we’ve done so far were the Avanti - KQ2, PQ, SJT, TB-DT, and TB-NTS.

Do the VSE AND M7-SJT follow this?

Good luck everyone. Carry on with life for now, and try to keep yourselves distracted from refreshing your emails every hour!
Have you had an email with your results?
