I managed to pass the first stage but have absolutely no idea what to expect next.

Does anyone know if this part of the assessment counts towards your 2 unsuccessful attempts if you fail? Or is this only for the OPC tests?

As far as I am aware, the 2 fail rule is for the OPC tests only.

The second stage is an EMR specific thing, so doesn't count towards your lives if you fail.

When I did this it was a speed interview - think speed dating, a bell sounds and you sit at desk where you get asked a question have 2 minutes to answer before the bell sounds and you move to another desk. Have an idea of what EMR is and will be doing and the general role of a driver.
Then there was teamwork exercises, building a structure out of paper and memorising images.

I took mine on the 24th Feb and got the pass email on 6th March! So don't worry if you haven't got ur result straight away.

Try to relax and remember safety and customer service and you will be fine.

I can't recall the exact wording, but there were just 3 questions. One was around what I knew about EMR (think routes, traction, contracts etc), one was about how I would deal with working shifts - particularly nights, the other (I think) was how would I prepare for a shift as a driver.

Group task - what attributes u think make a good depot driver.

Risk assessment task - think there were 6 scenarios, u have 2 mins to answer each.

Speed interview - 3 questions, a minute each to answer.

Expect a bit of waiting around as they only had 6 people in at a time with the second and third task.
