Yes, thats correct.Just to make it clear they start out as a pair then split at St Pancras. 180109 & 180110 are out today, which means the 16:50 off Nottingham will be a 4 car. Lovely.
Brilliant just what I need , many thanksHere are the diagrams.
2 work SX, 1 SO & 3 SUN.
Hope you can understand them as they don't copy very well on here.

East Midlands Railway may withdraw its four Class 180s used on inter-city services at the May timetable change, Modern Railways understands. The move is a response to pressure from the Department for Transport for all train operators to make cost savings, although at the time of going to press a final decision was still awaited.
No surprises there. Small, unreliable microfleet whose leases can be terminated to save some cash. It's amazing how the mood music has changed from just 12 months ago.Get them in why you can according to MR newsletter

Quite! Had a 180 on the 16:32 St Pancras to Sheffield this evening.Keep an eye on realtime trains as recently some Meridian/180 diagrams have been swapped around on an ad-hoc basis
That one is booked a 180 as of the December timetableQuite! Had a 180 on the 16:32 St Pancras to Sheffield this evening.
Fair enough. (Am I misreading the diagrams shown above? Seems to suggest that it was the 19:02 SX.)That one is booked a 180 as of the December timetable
No, the 1632 (and the rest of the diagram) is an addition to the above.Fair enough. (Am I misreading the diagrams shown above? Seems to suggest that it was the 19:02 SX.)
The 1902 is a double 180 and the 1632 is a 5 car 222 still. I expect the 1632 is the first option if a 180 is subbing for a 222 like yesterday. As a result the 0612 from Notts and 1902 from London was both a 5 car.Fair enough. (Am I misreading the diagrams shown above? Seems to suggest that it was the 19:02 SX.)
The 1632 is actually booked a 180, although the diagram seems to be a regular sub for a 5-car 222. Surprised it actually managed to be a 180 yesterday given the 222 fleet issues. The 1902 is a double 180 and the 1632 is a 5 car 222 still. I expect the 1632 is the first option if a 180 is subbing for a 222 like yesterday. As a result the 0612 from Notts and 1902 from London was both a 5 car.
The contents of DY506 diagram does seem to bounce between diagrams, on Friday (20th Jan) the contents actually featured on DY181 diagram. I also think that the contents featured on DY181 diagram in the second week of January too (Too late to look on TRUST unfortunately). Not sure if this is just an STP amendment, will be something to keep an eye on this week to see if similar is planned again. The DY506 diagram is still booked a 222, it’s only a 180 if needs be as recently Meridians have been needed for maintenance and route learning requirements. I guess this diagram is most flexible for either traction depending on what’s available as all staff on it sign 180s and it spends the least time in service.
I believe a 180 has only been needed twice so far, however both times it’s resulted in the 06:12 and 19:02 being short formed as above, and yesterday the whole DY183 circuit was cancelled
For reference the DY506 diagram is:
0447 Derby - London via Notts
0735 London - Nottingham
0950 Nottingham - London
Empty to Cricklewood and back
1632 London - Sheffield
Empty to Etches Park
With the strikes this week, not this Friday, alas!currently 222 Mon - thur and 180 on Friday
It was always an interim measure, but I expected them to at least last until the 810 introduction, when both 222s and 180s would be withdrawn. No EMR 180s after the May timetable change so they haven't lasted long.
Hull Trains these were with, I think.Regarding the East Mids 180s, were these the ones that were formerly with Great Western or Hull Trains?

Indeed are the ex Hull Trains ones (and FGW before that)Hull Trains these were with, I think.
I think a couple of them are in Chaddesden Sidings, a short distance from Etches Park, 180110 I think is on Etches Park. Not sure on the final set, all bar 180113 worked on Monday 29th May:So all the EMR 180s (ie 180109, 180110, 180111, and 180113) have been withdrawn prior to the start of the new timetable. Anyone know the last services each of them worked?
Just wondering where they are now, with Etches Park being redeveloped, and what plans there are for longer-term storage / re-use /scrapping. Anyone in the know?
Many thanks Louis - much appreciatedI think a couple of them are in Chaddesden Sidings, a short distance from Etches Park, 180110 I think is on Etches Park. Not sure on the final set, all bar 180113 worked on Monday 29th May:

180113 was withdrawn earlier in may due to hitting a cow on the 0612 Nottingham - London. Can't remember which day but it was a weekday. Many thanks Louis - much appreciated
