Also forgot to mention last night that 18363 did a 4 to the bus station. Not sure whether it started in Morecambe or just did a short city one. Very rare in any case.

Forwarded from the Fotopic users group. For those of you who have sites on Fotopic, you may have noticed that Fotopic has been down for a few days - Missing, presumed dead. For those who may be interested in an alternative to Fotopic (if it comes back), the original designer of Fotopic has been working on an alternative called Pikfu which was planned to be launch later this year, but with this week's problems, is looking to start beta testing it sooner than expected.

A lot of people are moving over to Flickr as we speak. Flickr isn't half bad but there is a picture limit (can't remember what it is) so when you meet that limit you must pay (I think).
If fotopic doesn't return it'll be a pain because half of my bookmarks are links to fotopic lol!

34702 on the 79/179 is a normal Saturday working.
The fact 52629 is not on the 685 is more news worthy! Its on 6 days a week normally.

Why would 52629 be going onto the 600? It has been used a couple of times but that is it. Its more likely its on the pit for a change...

47018 is now Barrow Reserve.
33163 is now Preston Reserve.
42025 has gone to Disposal.
20931 has also gone to Disposal.
52613 and 52614 have gone into Preston Reserve.
52022 going to Scrap.
Lillyhall's Ford Escort 90586 is going to Scrap.
Ex Preston Bus 47755, 47758 and 47759 are getting repaint before going to Fife.
14193 has no engine or gearbox so that's going to scrap.

Also, 20945 appears to be back ont' road, saw it this morning on a test run with a fitter driving.
Spent the rest of the day in Dumfries chasing the three MAN Kinetics they have from Ayr at the minute.

I'll answer it, as I was with him at the time, and he isn't online at the minute
It was around 8:50 we taken the pictures. He saw it a few minutes earlier, on his way to my house, for us to go to Dumfries.

I was on 20904 today, (Sounding Knackered) Display Knackered stuck on Keswick 554.

Indirectly relevant as it looks like 2 of the vehicles involved are the E reg ex Preston Bus/Stagecoach Olympians, quite sad really as it was a relatively new company, not needed in these tough times.

Some news from Manchester for those interested:
"Further B10Ms believed to be going to Ensign in the form of 20882/974/5. This would leave just six non-trainers of the type left to meet their fate:
Paladins; 20674/995/6 & Alex PS' 20938/82/3. 20938 was the last SGM high floor saloon to carry fare paying passengers fleet.
Also, another MAN reported due to go - and confirmation would be appreciated - is 22168 (T168 MVM). This time its just quoted as "Midlands" so is probably to Warwickshire.
Digressing slightly, major service changes - though fortunately only minor cuts overall - are taking place in Gtr. Manchester from 1st May. As far as Stagecoach Manchester is concerned, headway reductions will see about 10 single-deckers of various sizes, made redundant, of which half will come from the withdrawal of MagicBus 46/47, in anticipation of the Metrolink . So, if you want photographs of our "blue saloons", then you've got seven weeks left!
Other operators are making relatively minor changes, but subject to tenders being signed off, 3rd May should see the introduction of the first of the PTE owned hybrids for general subsidised services. I can tell you that 3 or 4 buses are involved (probably Versas), and they will run from Bolton."

They were due in Carlisle for repaint a few weeks ago (I think) I need to get myself down to the depot (Carlisle) but guess what? The footpath that goes round the depot is CLOSED.
Alhough you will already know about this, I did'nt see this in the post I forgot who posted it.
Ex Carlisle 52405 will remained taxed for Chorley Training.
42672 is "Spare Used" for 47721 and 47722.
