Think that might be an opposite direction change of use from what the OP was actually looking for.

At one time - probably gone now - part of the station buildings at the redundant Haughley Junction station was used to replace the signal box.

Don't think anyone has mentioned Moreton-on-Lugg, where the repurposed structure was an old oak tree by all accounts.

Bourne station was another that took over an existing building: in that case dating from 1605.

I guess that must have been a contender for the world's oldest station building!

The stationmaster's house at Hale (CLC) was previously a farmhouse before the line was built. Hence why it is at an odd angle to the station. Knaresborough signal box is in part of what was previously a house.

Absolutely fascinating @yorksrob . I had been in the pub a few times, and just assumed it had been…erm.. a courthouse. It has recently been done up, but I don’t know what it’s like. From Wikipedia:

The Midland Railway built a new passenger station on the Regent Street site and this opened for business on 23 August 1873. On 20 January 1872 the Midland completed purchased of the Old Court House, which fronted onto Regent Street, to incorporate the building into their new construction as a ticket office and waiting room, the new station being named "Court House" as a result. The station had an overall glass roof over its two through platforms and with its magnificent frontage was considered to be the most 'glamorous' station in the area. There was also a short 'bay' platform (No.3) at the Penistone end of the station. It was known to generations of 'Barnsleyites' as "Top Station"

Outgrowing the current facilities.

One that fit both categories here is Dundas House next to Glasgow Queen Street station. Originally a pub (The Vale) up until 2016, it was requestioned by ScotRail and converted into a temporary ticket office during the station rebuilding works and was intended to be reconverted back into a pub. It is (or was as of spring 2022) now being converted to a Cafe / Bar / Events space called Kaffateria.
