Just had my email for DMI, 1st or 3rd Feb
I was told on my dmi in May that it all depends on where the most trainees are from (depot). The reference I was given was if 3 were going to reading and 2 for crewe then it would be in reading as cheaper for hotels and car hire.Does anybody know where the 3 month training period takes place? I was told crewe and scotland, i know where the crewe training centre is but im not sure where the scotland training centre is (if there is one)? If anybody can help that would be great!
Hi how was that interview? Was it formal or more relaxed? That makes sense as it gives you a week to prep for it.
I had my DMI last week and I'm in the talent pool. Euston applicant.
Hope it goes well for you and let me know if you need some advice
Hi, just to confirm you have been given a start date in April for Crewe?I was told on my dmi in May that it all depends on where the most trainees are from (depot). Do you mean they ran out of interview slots?I missed mine... wasn't expecting an email and was in work! Absolutely gutted, hopefully some more dates are released soon.

Yeah... got the email at 11:14, didn't see it as I was at work. Follow up email at 14:00 saying all the slots had been taken up! GuttedDo you mean they ran out of interview slots?
Ahh that's a shame. I wouldn't worry about it too much though. I'm sure more slots will come up soon. Just look at it as more prep time.Yeah... got the email at 11:14, didn't see it as I was at work. Follow up email at 14:00 saying all the slots had been taken up! Gutted
Also I got an email through just after I got my link for the interview. It told me what to research an pretty much gives you all the information you need to know about the interview other than giving you the exact questions they will ask. Please don’t give exact questions that you were asked in this thread. Keep it vague because they monitor this thread and they have been known to retract peoples passes in the past due to the questions being leaked on this forum. The help is appreciated but please be mindful as it is a selection process
Yeah mate I seen this on their website too.Just seen on Avantis chat bot that they're opening applications again for drivers on 28th February.
No.Do you think that goes against us as males in this recruitment?

Is it 6 months between failing and applying again, or 6 months between failing and redoing what you failed originally…?Unfortunately 28th February is just over four months too soon for me, and I doubt it will take so long that my six month period is up by the time the next recruitment round assessments begin. Hopefully I'll get another chance soon though. Congratulations to everyone who has their upcoming DMIs by the way!
I'm not sure to be honest, my impression is that it's six months between taking tests. If a TOC for example took two months to set up assessments I imagine applying four months after a failed test might be possible as long as the psychometrics take place after your six month period since it's only the psychometrics that go on record. However, do not take my word for that, because that is just guesswork on my half and I could be very wrong. Is it 6 months between failing and applying again, or 6 months between failing and redoing what you failed originally…?
They normally do qualified recruitments a lot more regularly than trainee recruitments, I just don't think they're as widely publicised as they're pushing to get new drivers (specifically females) to apply.Anyone know if they’ll be accepting qualified on this recruitment drive too?
It's 6 months from failing a test. If you've not failed any then you can apply with any other TOC straight away but avanti will make you wait 6 months from failing the test.Is it 6 months between failing and applying again, or 6 months between failing and redoing what you failed originally…?
They can't. That would be classed as discrimination, although very hard to see from the outside as you have no dealings on who makes it and who doesn't. If they were found to be discriminating that's a huge hole for them.Do you think that goes against us as males in this recruitment?
Same for Euston. Any Euston applicants received a date yet?Anyone for Liverpool heard of DMI dates yet?
