As far as I remember the Leamside connection was taken over by Tyneside and Ferryhill box was just a shunting frame for the yard.
After Tyneside took over control of the ECML lines in 1991, Ferryhill box was retained for the Absolute Block working towards Stillington. It didn't control any points.

Warrington PSB, although opened 1972 or thereabouts, has never controlled the low level lines at Warrington BQ which pass right beside the box (even with a semaphore or two). This situation still exists.

Bristol panel has had the reverse with TVSC (Thames Valey Signaling Centre) at Didcot taking control of the station whilst leaving a panel behind there to control the line to Weston and onwards.
Bristol Panel when opened replaced all the boxes that controlled Temple Meads station and nearby junctions. Before taking control of the rest of the intended area over the course of about four years.

In recent years, the recontrol (really resignalling by another name) with areas transferring to TVSC Didcot also happened in stages. After TVSC took control of Swindon and Swindon B, the first part of the area controlled by Bristol Panel to be recontrolled was the Patchway/Filton/Stoke Gifford/Bristol Parkway area.

The last part to be recontrolled was Flax Bourton (South West of Bristol) to North Somerset Junction (just East of Bristol Temple Meads) including Bristol Temple Meads station area.

Hence now Bristol Panel no longer controls Bristol Temple Meads station area despite being built right next to the station.

Bristol Panel now only controls Flax Bourton to Bridgwater (which is the boundary with Exeter Panel).
