I have read on a another group somewhere that they are hard to contact. They haven't the staff to answer all the entusiasts questions. I have sent emails to The East Lancashire Railway Preservation Society at this address:
membership@elrps.org.uk. Also this address:
enquire@east-lancs-rly.co.uk which I found on a tourist site, which I think might be only for customers and finally the press office at this address:christina.seidel@east-lancs-rly.co.uk.
No replies so far. There seems no contact address for general enquires.
The only video I have found was late lastnight on Youtube of the 2003 at war event, but it doesn't state what day the footage was shot. Will email the guy who video it, to see if he remembers.

As for photos, I've searched quite a few photo websites and surprisingly can't find any for these two days or weekends. So I thought why not throw a question out to the enthusiasts on various groups to see if they know. So far it looks like no one went to these weekends.

So this leads me to ask, East Lancs railway Mon 3rd May 1999 Raw to Bury at 1.00pm. Does anyone know out of these three engines 46441,45337 and 42765. Which ran the Bury to Rawtenstall at 12.00pm or Rawtenstall to Bury at 1.00pm A longshot I know. I have asked ELR, but they only have a list of what was operating on the line that day and note individual times.
regards
Albert
