Hello, does anybody know what happened to the rolling stock involved in the Selby train crash? When the coaches were removed from the railway, where did the coaches immediately get transported to? And what became of them in the end?

All of the coaches were written off as a result of the accident. They were scrapped either at Sims in Beeston or Booth’s in Rotherham.

According to Wiki:

91023 was also involved in the Hatfield rail crash four months earlier. The locomotive escaped with only slight damage on both occasions. Technical upgrade of the Class 91 fleet led to all locomotives having 100 added to their numbers (91001 became 91101, etc.), with the exception of 91023 being renumbered 91132, rather than 91123. Nicknamed 'Lucky' as a result of its history, 91132 remained in service until 2021, when it was scrapped by Sims Metals Scrapyard in Nottingham.

Wikipedia is slightly off there. 91132 was withdrawn in early 2020 and entered storage, then moved to Sims in Beeston for scrap in March 2021, being cut up about a month after arrival and becoming the first 91 to be scrapped.

Do you know where they went before the scrap yard? I imagine it wasn't a point A to point B arrangement and BTP /RSSB would have wanted to inspect the coaches?

I’m not 100% sure, but have a feeling they went to Doncaster works.
