On my normal commute back home between Glasgow and Lockerbie I often catch 1M19, the 20:06 southbound Avanti from Central to Crewe.
This evening, after I had disembarked, the train set off from Lockerbie. About 10 seconds later, there was a thud noise and the train ground to a sudden halt, sitting for around 5 minutes before successfully departing further south.
Does anyone in the know happen to have any idea what caused this? It was very sudden and took me and the others whom had disembarked by surprise!
