Oxford to Swindon Season

Hello Everyone. Probably a silly question, so apologies in advance! Can anyone advise me whether an Oxford to Swindon season ticket will enable me to enter and exit the station at Didcot? If so, will the fact that it is loaded to a smartcard cause an issue with entering / exiting the barriers? Thanks.

Yes, season tickets are valid for unlimited travel during their validity, as well as unlimited break of journey at all intermediate stations along the permitted routes. So you can exit/enter at Didcot.

Your season ticket might not automatically work the barriers, as barriers have to be manually programmed to accept any tickets other than those issued to/from the station in question. But you'll be let through by barrier staff if this is the case.

Bicester Village to Swindon is the same price as Oxford to Swindon and you get additional (free) travel Oxford - Oxford Parkway - Islip - Bicester Village, which might come in handy
