Also from what I can tell stations from Amersham to Harrow on the hill have electric London underground services, but their national rail services all all diesel.

I did want to mention those services served by Chiltern but wasn't sure if it would be disallowed as I believe the stations are under LU management but good call

Stretching things even further, Navigation road and Altrincham have electric metrolink trams, but only deisel NR services, unlike the previous examples though the NR and metrolink services use different tracks.

Until recently the morning trip was booked 158 and the evening trip booked 156. Both trips are in the current timetable booked 156, but in practice a 158 can turn up on either trip from time to time; the end of through working to Dumfries has left the vast majority of diagrams in the North East fully interchangeable between the two types.

Until late 2019 the morning trip was booked 156 and the evening trip booked 142, and generally both trips ran with the booked traction.

Back on topic Manors, Pegswood, Widdrington, Acklington, Chathill don't have booked electric whilst Cramlington, Morpeth, Alnmouth do . Would have been 50/50 if TPE didn't reverse a decision to stop at Widdrington

Widdrington will still be served by TPE when the full ECML timetable recast eventually happens. Cramlington will get an all day TPE service at the same time.

Stretching the definition somewhat - Carnforth platforms are electrified as much as overruns as to allow terminators into the platforms! It's not a through electric route.

No 390s, AFAIK. The TPE Nova sets did reverse there, as well as occasional engine changes for Charter services by WCRC.

My mistake, I misread it as HT684, which of course is a 156 diagram

I think it'll largeley depend on how much cost cutting the DFT wish to do. I could quite easily see them going back on the promises for an all day service at Widdrington, a half hourly service at Cramlington and an hourly service at Chester-le-Street.

Late-night revellers have a treat tonight with an EMU (6 carriage 331) calling at Kearsley, Farnworth and Moses Gate. Ordinarily these stations are served by DMUs or class 769s.

Patchway and Severn Tunnel Junction have booked calls in an IET service every weekday morning - the 06.57 Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads which has operated as an IET since covid.
