London Northwestern Crewe to Euston service

I have used the very popular Euston Crewe service 4 times in recent months but when I try to book tickets for Oct 24th. No direct services available, when were these trains removed? Very disappointed.

There's significant engineering work taking place between Stafford and Rugby via the Trent Valley. So these trains won't be running on that date. They haven't been removed permanently.

Drainage work near Nuneaton and works related to Rugeley / Colwich resignalling.

As mentioned in a different thread, there are alternative services via / change at Birmingham New Street, if that helps?

Smattering of HS2 as well. Its a bit more than drainage at Nuneaton!

Thanks to all for the reply. If I had looked on Westmidlands Trains website I would have seen the news about the disruption.
Ah well, I can have a look around New Street and Rugby on my way down
