So which 156s are going to northern and which ones are staying with EMR?

Ive lost track but at one time units for Northern I think were 156 401-404, 412-15, 419, 422, 907, 909, 916, 917, 918.
401, 402, 412, 415 have been with Nothern since 2021.
Anyone update and regards liberties and renumberings.

I was under the impression that EMR will stand down all their 156s... unless they are keeping some for Liverpool-Norwich?
They are. I don't know whether the remainder have homes lined up or not, if they have it hasn't been announced.
The last update we had was all 156s to finish before next summer.

RTT has the transfer taking place as planned. Ended up at Newton Heath T.M.D 40 minutes early. Presume it was 414/422 (414 being dropped at ATC Crewe) can anyone confirm?

Might be a bit soon but does anyone know what and when the next transfer will happen? Surely it can't be too far away as 5 156s need to be with Northern by the December TT change.

156418 & 156404 are due to be moved on 13/11, same as before, 418 to Newton Heath, 404 straight to ATC Crewe for repaint.
156419 is the last one due 27/11 straight to Newton Heath.
Fair enough. Any idea when?
Good luck with 418 - it was a pain before it went to Wolverton and it's been even worse since it came back!

Released into traffic this morning so could possibly be out and about.
401 is now in Northern livery, I want to say it was repainted early September.

Now that 414 has been repainted it has returned to NH for modifications and conversion exams, same as 422 had so will be stopped for few weeks. It takes 2 weeks to do a full repaint on the ex-EMR units.

Seen going through Wolverhampton by a twitter user.
I did a double take when you said Wolverhampton, then I looked at RTT. Another unusual routing, though not as mad as some of the other ROG moves!

422 has just failed again (door fault), having failed about a week ago with a brakes problem.

With the last 156 for the December TT change due to be moved on the 27th, are there any plans to send anymore very soon after that date? Especially as more 170s are coming over every week for a while and Etches Park and Nottingham Eastcroft are full?

My final remaining East Mids 156 (410) is on the Cleethorpes - Barton shuttle today, going by the RTT website.
I have looked at the remaining workings for today, and noticed that it runs empty to Lincoln Central (Platform 3 A or B). Looking at tomorrow, I cannot see anything departing either 3A or B, but the Skipton - London Kings Cross is using 3.
Does this mean that 156410 will be working its way back towards Nottingham during the course of tomorrow?
Last year before the 153s were retired (I got my final one - 308), I think it was mentioned in the 153 thread at the time that the Cleethorpes - Barton trains changed over on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Is this still the case today, or do they change over daily/once weekly?
