Hi all,

Does anyone have access to the current Loco Hauled Coaching Stock formations and numbers for Chiltern Railways?

Thanks,

This begs the question as to what the current status is of 82301 and 82303 (and why 82302's on AL03), given it was traditionally the case that the DVT number identified the set.

That said, the GFW (Business Zone) vehicle numbers currently align with the set numbers.

I think, if my lists are up to date, 12621 is also spare.

Is that right?

TIA

82303 has been out of use at Wembley for a very long time. Not sure exactly what is wrong with it, but I've heard rumours it won't be running in service again.

Says who?
82303 can be made available for service if required, just requires outstanding work to be completed.
More to the point, it isn't really needed now the slam-door set has gone. 1 DVT per set plus a spare is all that is required.

Does anyone know when the locos are swapped over? I still need 68009 and 014 so hopefully they come out to play the next time I'm down that way.
I’m not exactly sure how often they swap but you can see which locos are in use since they run Crewe - Wembley almost exclusively on 0A68 and 0K69 on a Saturday.

68009 when at Chiltern only resides at Wembley Maintaince Depot .
Can only be used for rescue only.
68009 Titan recently and has been used back with Drs on Freight duties with it this week being in Cumbria around Sellafield on the Nuclear Flasks.
It quite often does other freight work as well. However 68009 mainly only covers Chiltern rescue only these days when short on the other locomotives. 68008, 68010 to 68015. As the others when spare can provide ETS unlike 68009 which is emergency rescue only
So can be used for service trains as well. To stop a Substitute 168 being used.
NB 68012 still remains out of service at Carlisle Kingmoor though for a very long time.

009 (and 012) have ETS issues, and cant be used in passenger service, 009 is on regular DRS services i believe at the moment, and 012 is away somewhere for a exam

From memory it is the 9:10, 10:10 and 12:10 to Birmingham from Marylebone. I'm sure someone else will correct me on this though.
