While stood in Essex Road underground station, I noticed how neat and clean Network Southeast logo is with the main colours being the same as the British flag.

Perhaps it's time to resurrect and bring it back to life.

It looks a bit dated. Personally I'd rather give Best Impressions those colours as a brief, I'm sure they'd come up with something good.
I wouldn't be so sure: it would rather depend if they were in "London Midland" mode or "VTEC" mode.

I wouldn't let Best Impressions within 500 yards of the GBR headquarters, after the lazy effort they put in with VTEC.

I know people are not keen on the ends which clashed with the angular ends of particularly 225 sets. However, I think the individual carriages looked pretty smart in VTEC and particularly while your train was pulling into the platform the swooshing red worked rather well. There was a bit of drama that the Azuma livery for example lacks.

Yes, I think they seem to get a lot of hatred for that livery in particular, which I don’t see to be that bad. On the whole, they have designed some - if not most - of the best and most recognisable liveries, ranging from Midland Mainline to SWT. Mind you, I did read somewhere that Mr Stenning was also behind the Silverlink livery, which I am not so keen on.

I can't agree with that at all, especially once the white vinyl started to get - and stay - dirty.

My issue with Best Impressions is similar to one of my issues with Virgin: They've garnered a reputation as being "a cut above", but I'm not convinced they've done much to earn that reputation. Style over substance.
