Absolutely awful. Worst interior layout I have ever had the displeasure to use.

Re the 720s... I didn't really believe you @Bletchleyite but then was on one the other week. I'm quite a big guy, I really struggled with the aisle. Seats were comfy enough but if 2 other people tried to get onto that section then it would have been grim. And the less said about 3 across airline seating the better!

I don't think there are any complete yet, are there? I've certainly not seen any. Plenty of "Trebor mint" 350s though

There's a "Sainsbury's" train in the back of Bletchley TMD by the way (visible from the Marston Vale), though I forget if it's a 730 or a 196.

The gold looks extremely dulled and worn. At least the orange is bright and fresh.

I don’t think anyone actually objects to @Bletchleyite ‘s observation that the seats and aisles are very narrow, but more the apparent need to tell us this observation in the 720 thread five times per day

I'm interested to see what all those SE commuters who complained about the (quote, Twitter) 40 year old noisy clapped out 319s and simply awful not fit for purpose 350/2s make of these when they arrive. Could they be screaming for their old trains back?

I don't think the majority of 'SE commuters' really think the 350/2s are awful. They need a refurb and they really need to be kept on the Tring and MK stoppers as they aren't really suited to the Crewe/Brum trips. I am a Tring commuter and with all that said I would prefer a 350/1,3 or 4.

The 319s really are very poor now, and I try to avoid those services where possible.

Oxley will be emptied out of some of the 730's next week.
Moves are in the system for double sets to move to Bletchley on Wednesday and Thursday plus Camden on Friday for continued storage/stabling.

Unless LNR have changed it since LM days, they just work in one pool so what you get is mostly random, though a few services seem to be more likely to have one than the other, possibly just due to which order they go into the depot.
