The Scania will have been VOR this morning for remedial work, or a service. If swapping the buses was that easy, allocations like this would never happen.

21007 parked up at the underpass with its hazards on waiting to do a rush hour shuttle.
22804 just pulled up at the underpass showing X3 on the blinds...
22814 on X1
14208 seen at the Uni again at about 5.15. Not sure what it's running.

Also a few snaps of the new E300s (although in these pics it looks like an E200...) for Merseyside:

It's 35246.

35247 on as well.

Reays are being sneaky tw*ts with their adverts on buses advertising a "Kidz" fare of 50p to the city centre. I was on a Primo this afternoon, and there's a sign inside saying that the advert SHOULD state this is a MINIMUM FARE of 50p. From the "River Eden side of the city", the fare is 95p, whereas the Upperby end it is £1.20.

No mention of this on the outside of the vehicles. False advertising anyone?

You can't even read it properly when you're sat on the bus. Its on the glass divider screen between the door and passenger seats. You've gotta be stood in the doorway to read it!

SWAPPING WEST CUMBRIAN BUSES FOR BOOTS TO RAISE CASH
Last updated at 20:34, Thursday, 03 February 2011
Bus drivers from West Cumbria will be getting out from behind the wheel and taking to the streets to raise money for Help for Heroes next month.

Nine employees of travel firm Stagecoach will walk the 24-mile route of service 30, from Maryport to Thornhill, near Egremont, on March 19.

Brian Atherton, organiser and an ex-serviceman, said: “It is a team effort and we are hoping to raise over £2,000.

“Since leaving the forces I have not been involved in raising any money for the charity after serving 26 years and I thought it was about time I got something organised.

“I mentioned the idea to my colleagues and they were delighted to get involved.”

Stagecoach has already pledged £1,000 in sponsorship.

The others who will be taking part in the sponsored walk are Julie Oakerbee, Stephen George, Barbara Lambert, Grant Ritson, Pavol Holec, John Bridgewood, Dave Walton and Jason Borrowdale.

Good stuff, finely made it out!

Turns out 14208 has been on short 3s all day, I had it on the way home. Gear changes are awful lol :)

Fraid not, It worked the 1047 42 Blackpool, then the 500 Ripley to Overton, did not go onto the 3s until the 1715 ex Underpass

I thought we'd been through this?
12 E300s arrive in June to work the 3/4 (PVR 12). Displaced MANs will see off the B10Bs for certain, and possibly some B10Ms?
Sounds like some may be heading up to Kendal to potentially replace the M---VCW B10Ms.

Care to shott those guesses to pieces Gez, or get us guessing some more? :P
As for fleetnumbers, ballpark figure, 27720 upwards.
Oh, and while your teasing us, are we right about E400s for Kendal?

Can't see that happening for a while.

All I can see is Morecambe gaining up to 4 Tridents from Kendal (If Kendal get E400s), to allow the withdrawal of the 2 Leylands and get 2 Volvos up to KL for further Leyland replacement.

Or they might get all the tridents to replace the 2 leylands and some of the volvo olys, but we`ll have to see what happens.
