Let me know your thoughts on if Eastleigh train station should ticket barriers and Gateline staff and have them manning the gates.

How would I get on to take photos? No thanks...
It will no doubt happen at some stage. It is a bit surprising it hasn't already given there is effectively a single entrance hall which is about the right size and SWR have had a number of points at which they have added more stations to their gated list. I guess the position of the staircase is the slightly awkward factor.

Yes, it should have them. Eastleigh is a major station.

Eastleigh is borderline - most journeys probably start/end at another gated station, but it is a reasonably popular station in it's own right.
Separately, why the Poll regarding Portsmouth stations? (Edit: Poll removed)

Agreed but it’s a rough area and Gateline staff get attacked .
