ex Preston Bus Solo 47775 has been noted in Manchester.

Does anyone have a list of which Scania's and Solos have been kept by Stagecoach. I seem to remember it being quite a few Solos, quite suprising really although I know PB used to have quite a few spares.
Interesting they've kept one of the ones they were forced to repaint back into PB livery, so its gone from PB Livery > Stagecoach > PB and will now very likely end up back in Stagecoach colours!
28513/4 are the 2 Scania Esteems (the only 2 not painted out of Stagecoach livery).
Seem to remember 47753/4 being kept by Stagecoach (from Preston Bus reserve). Apparently 7 more Solo's, but not sure which ones they are. I'd have thought they'd include the other two 51 reg's.

AFAIK only one Esteem was ever repainted out of Stagecoach colours, 28512 and that was because of its altercation with a Crane on Fylde Road about a year ago.
You're most likely right on that! With not being from that area, I can only rely on what I hear from others about stuff down there.

At a guess, they could be 2 of 28511/3,4 as the other is stagecoach livery is 28510, one of the later N230's and they are more than likely to keep it, especially as it carries the private reg.

I understand that the two Scania's being kept by Stagecoach are 28513/4. Having said that, 28513 was noted on a Preston Bus working after takeover!!
With regard to the Solo's, these should be 47753/4/5/8/9/60/8/74/5

One of the Carlisle Solos was out on its usual Sunday duties today. I have not quite got to grips with what exactly it does but seems to do a 179/75/685 through out the day. Meanwhile the usual B10M on the 554.

Worth noting 33162 has had a partial repaint and was as usuaal sounding ill today and loosing air frequently.

If they're staying in Manchester, worth noting that Manchester have mini Darts 34080 and 34081 that they are wanting replaced. They follow on directly from 34079... But they both have wheelchair ramps!!!

Does anybody know anything about the new Stagecoach Bus orders for London? I know there will be 160 new buses going into the capital but not sure about the details.

Agree, we get all the scum through here except for 47023 and 47024 I got both with them been 46's until 47007 replaced 47023 at 3ish.
Young and talented 47616 and 47617 are always through in Whitehaven to work either Mirehouse or Lowca.

TIMETABLE CHANGES
Carlisle city, Gretna, Annan and Dumfries area service changes – 28th February 2011
Stagecoach is making a number of changes to services from the above date, particularly affecting the Carlisle to Dumfries corridor.
Full details are as follows:
62 Morton Park – city centre – Lowry Hill – Asda
Following customer requests, we will be diverting the Monday to Saturday, 2115 hours journey on service 79 (Carlisle – Annan), to operate via Lowry Hill estate.
76 St. Anns Hill – Stanwix – city centre – Botcherby – Durranhill
A revised timetable will be introduced, in order to improve the overall reliability of this service. We are constantly monitoring the reliability of our bus services and believe that this timetable change will ensure that the timetable remains robust in the face of increasing traffic congestion. There will be no change to the frequency of the service at any time of day.
79. 179, 379 Carlisle – Longtown – Gretna – Annan – Dumfries
These services will be revised to become:
79. 179, 279 Carlisle – Longtown – Gretna – Annan
with guaranteed connections at Annan for
379 Annan – Dumfries
In order to ensure that we can continue to effectively operate these bus services, route 79 will be split into two sections, operating Carlisle to Annan and then Annan to Dumfries. Customers should note that they will still be able to purchase through-tickets and in most cases, will not even have to change bus in Annan bus station, as the buses will simply change their number at Annan. All connections through Annan will be guaranteed in both directions.
Following customer requests, we will divert the Monday to Saturday 2115 hours service 79 (Carlisle to Annan), to serve Lowry Hill estate. It will divert from Scotland Road to serve the same loop that our regular service 62 does. Also, the service 79 bus which calls into Asda at 2201 hours, heading back to Carlisle city centre, will now depart Asda a few minutes later, to assist staff who have a shift change at 2200 hours.
In addition to the above, there will be some minor timetable changes to certain journeys and those journeys between Annan and Carlisle that are currently numbered 379, will become 279 instead.
80 Annan town service
The timetable of service 80 will not change, however, in connection with the wider renumbering of the 79/179/379, those journeys shown as 379 in the service 80 timetable, will now be numbered 279 instead.
279 Eastriggs – Annan Academy
This service will be renumbered to 579, as part of the wider changes to the services mentioned above. There are no changes to the timetable.
