Can I travel from Ewell East (Z6) to Ewell West (Z6) via Epsom (Beyond zonal area) with using a day Z1-6 travelcard?

or I really have to go to Clapham to change the train?

Thanks!!

Sorry, no you cannot go via Epsom on that.

You'll either have to go via Clapham Junction ( or Wimbledon - Sutton ) or buy a ticket from Ewell West to Ewell East via Epsom.

There is a bus, which is obviously covered on the Travelcard.

If an RPI checked tickets when beyond either Ewell station, you could be issued a Penalty Fare as it's not valid to go to, or via Epsom on a Travelcard.

At least NRES has stopped suggesting that you can save money with an Oystercard for that route after Barry Doe highlighted it a few issues ago.

If you wish to do this journey by train, I would suggest a day return from Boundary Zone 6 to Epsom (I don't know the price of this, but suspect it will be around £2.60-£2.90 off peak), or a day single from Ewell East-Ewell West for £2.30 (full adult fare).
