I'm a music producer and working on a horror concept album based around trains/stations. Does anyone know of any resources for audio recordings of trains or stations? I've tried capturing a few field recordings myself with mixed results. What I'm after are the sounds of moving/stationary trains, announcements - all those clicks and hissing sounds, clickety clacks that I hear on the Merseyrail network.

For a small outlay, some of these may be helpful: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_...0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_odkw=train+record&_osacat=0

Is there public access to the BBC sound effects library?
Looks like there's a free trial - probably my best bet thanks.
Ah yes didn't think of that. I'm after more contemporary sounds but probably some usable material on those old records - cheers.
