Atw 121

Hi all,

Is anyone able to confirm whether the ATW Bubble Car will be running to the Bay on Saturday, and if not what will be its substitute?

Most of the time when the class 121 isnt in service a class 153 is used although pacers are also

It was a 153 today and a 142 earlier this week (Tuesday, I think).

I wouldn't be too hopeful. From my experiences and from the records of people on this forum it seems like the 121 hasn't been running very often lately.

You say that, but surely, people won't report that a 121 is on it, but report when it isn't on it, so it will seem like that?

I know not whether it can be trusted as a cast iron source, but the Wikipedia page for the Butetown branch line was updated in December stating that the 121 is no longer used.

I'd not heard anything about them removing it, I've still seen it running up and down!

So they didn't have to use a 153 on it, and can use that elsewhere instead. It's Cardiff's equivalent of the Parry People Mover.

121 032 has been at Canton since the end of November I Beleive, not sure whats wrong, but must be major to be stopped for this long
