So yesterday I was travelling Cambridge to Grimsby town, my intended journey was as follows

7am Greater Anglia Cambridge to Ely

7:49am EMR Ely to Nottingham

10:35 EMR Nottingham to Grimsby

And the tickets I held was
Cambs to Ely Off peak day single

Ely to Nottingham advance single valid on 07:49

Nottingham to Grimsby off peak return.

I managed to get to Ely without a hitch, but the 07:49

from Ely to Nottingham for which I had an advance ticket for was cancelled, therefore ticket acceptance was in place on the 08:15 cross country service to change at Leicester and the next available train from Leicester to Nottingham. this 08:15 arrived into Leicester at 09:47, it was actually 09:48 before I stepped onto the platform and I noticed across the bridge there was an EMR train which was due to leave for Nottingham in just a few mins, I am agile and quick on my feet but I had heavy bags which slowed me down, I did try to make this train but as I reached the platform the train doors closed for departure, (this was below the minimum connection time I think)
So I had to catch the 10:20 which arrived into Nottingham at 10:54 so I had to wait until the 12:35 which arrived into grimsby 2 hours and 2 mins later than scheduled.

If I managed to get over the footbridge in time then I would have caught the service to Nottingham and would have made my final train Nottingham to Grimsby in time.

So am I right in thinking I am able to claim delay repay for the whole journey and not just the Ely to Nottingham leg? On EMR delay repay form it only accepts one ticket only so how do I include all of my tickets when applying? Should I just attach one of them and then appeal when it is rejected?
Thanks

I think you claim for the whole journey / total price.

I use paper tickets which means I upload a photo so assume I would take the pic of all the tickets in one image and upload that. But maybe that is not an option for you if your tickets are not poss to photograph?

You can claim for the whole of your journey from Cambridge to Grimsby.

What I do is take a photo of all of the tickets and upload them, add up the price and use that. If it asks for a ticket number then I nortmally use the ticket number of the most expensive ticket in the combination, or the ticket for the portion where the delay occurred.

When l reclaimed from GWR a few weeks ago, l gave the whole journey details and was then able to upload 2 seperate photos of the tickets. In the past with Southern had to upload 1 photo showing 2 tickets. Don’t know what system EMR use.

I have E tickets so it is not possible to screenshot them all at once, I will message EMR on twitter and see what they say.

Use an image editor to combine the screenshots.

I see Northern has moved to a new system (i.e. the same one as most other TOCs) and it now asks you if you used more than one ticket for your journey. (As I didn't, I didn't look at how it would deal with such a situation.)

Based on the Avanti delay repay site, it'll ask you to choose the type of ticket, enter in the details, and upload a screenshot/picture for each ticket you used.
