Question about Southern class 377/2 diagrams

Under the new timetable West London line meets the significant decrease in service. Only single class 377/2 units are booked and most of services run as far as Watford Junction only. So only 4 single units diagrammed weekdays. Is that true that the rest of the fleet (another 11 377/2s) booked as common pool with the other 4-car 377s? Or may be 377/2 besides West London line have their dedicated diagrams?
Would be very appreciated for the answer.

There are 13 daily 377/2 diagrams. As you say, there are 4 required for the west London line services and the remaining 9 are on dedicated Metro Service diagrams

Thank you. So they are not in a common pool with DC-only 377s and have dedicated workings originating of Selhurst obviously.

No, not in a common pool with 1/4's as they need to Make sure they cycle through Selhurst for maintenance. 2 diagrams originate at STreatham Hill, the rest at Selhurst

They're not in a common pool however on the day the 377/2 and the 377/4 (which encompasses the /1s as well) diagrams that start & end and Selhurst Depot are often covered by one or the other. Weekdays most of the Epsom Downs - Victoria circuits are booked to be 377/2 but so far a number are covered on the day by 377/4s

No, think that stopped post May 2018. They’re predominately on Metro services along with the 377/6’s

They are indeed! Currently 123 377/4 diagrams (although that’s due to increase to 133 in the near future)

Yes, in part, but only because of the Derby.

Looks to be a mix of different formations with Caterham services diverted and Coulsdon Town services extended.

This is looks practical because the 377/2s is fully compatible with the 377/1/4s and /3s.
It would be difficult to use 377/2s only on their own diagrams because there are few suitable ones, i.e. those that start and end at Selhurst same day and do not end at Stewarts Lane or somewhere else (not in Streatham Hill). And Stewarts Lane as I understand does not usually work with 377/2.

Really? The 377/6 have a much nicer design (albeit with slightly worse seats) with additions such as much lighter spacious feeling interior, created by the better lighting and thinner seats. They also sound nicer, although this is a personal opinion.

Yes but in comparison, 377/4s are better suited to longer distance work than 377/6/7s

I am not sure how the sound differs at all in terms of traction but doors chimes are different.

The door chime on 377/6/7/387 is horrible.
