[Trivia] Royal themed station visit ideas

With the Queen's Platinum Jubilee at the end of this month, I'm going to attempt to visit a station with a Jubilee/Royal link. I'm a lukewarm Royallist so won't be going to a street party but do fancy getting out with the extra day off so here's my ideas on Royal themed stations:

Windsor & Eton Central/Riverside
Queenborough
Queen's Park
Kinghorn
St Andrew's Road (controversial)
Williamwood.
The Jubilee Line

Are you just looking for GB stations with "Royal" names?

For example...

King's Langley;

King's Lynn;

Princes Risborough;

Queens Road Peckham.

Yes. I'll allow Royal towns like Tunbridge Wells etc..

HM the Queen has done a lot of rail travel, for official engagements and privately. Sometimes, but not always, this includes use of the Royal Train.

Kings Lynn has very strong royal associations because of its proximity to Sandringham. HM the Queen has caught the train to or from Kings Lynn many times, definitely more than 70. If you go to Kings Lynn First Class you will be travelling like Royalty, especially if you take your own security staff!

Closed stations that have big royal associations are Wolferton, the nearest to Sandringham, and Ballater, the nearest to Balmoral. Both of these had special facilities for the Royal Family, as did Windsor and Eton Central.

If that's not enough Seven Kings and Walthamstow Queen’s Road are just down the road.

Going round the houses in South West London, there's Kingston....and just over 400 miles away - Dunfermline Queen Margaret.

Many years ago, the highest station in England was Princetown on Dartmoor, adjacent to the prison (closed 1955).

The Kings Lynn experience is a few cans short of a six-pack nowadays, as it's well known she preferred 365s. I'm not even sure they bothered seating her in first class on the 387s.

HM the Queen travelled First Class on class 387s, with the Royal Party taking all of the car nearest the country end, including the Standard Class saloon between the First Class saloon and the driving cab.

I'm more inclined to think for the Jubilee Weekend Prince Andrew would be well hidden, in fact, perhaps hidden in an industrial estate on the edge of Bristol.
