Afternoon, I’m planning a trip to Brighton on 2 April and wondered if anyone could enlighten me as to whether the 313s have similar diagrams on a Saturday compared to Monday to Fridays?

Obviously the excellent https://partimespotter.wordpress.com/website is great for Mondays to Friday’s but doesn’t give me insight as to 2 April.

Note that Brighton & Hove Albion FC are playing at home on 2nd April, which means the Brighton-Seaford diagrams and (I think) the Brighton-Lewes shuttles, which are normally quite reliable 313 turns, become 377-worked.

Actually whilst that is somewhat true, it's equally true that the Lewes shuttles are worked by 6 car trains and this often results in 6/313 as did yesterday.

Surprisingly yesterday, 313 remained on the Seaford branch as well.

If you want to see 313s obviously head to Brighton (although maybe not on a match day), London road is a good pick for the Lewes and seafords.

Littlehampton often sees 313s and so does bognor, barnham probably better for the Portsmouth trains.

There's little variation compared to weekdays

Thanks to you both for your replies.

Your final line is the most pertinent. If there’s little variation then I think it’s worth the trip

Bognor - Barnham, Littlehampton - Bognor, Littlehampton - Portsmouth & Southsea, Brighton - Hove and Brighton - West Worthing almost always tend to be class 313 operated as well.

The schedules on RealTime Trains show whether First Class seating is supposed to be provided. Obviously this doesn't mean they won't run a standard-only service with a 377, but it does at least show some degree of intention.

I am heading down the coast tomorrow, are the 313s generally on the Brighton-Seaford services and Littlehampton-Bognor/ Portsmouth services? I didn't notice any Brighton-Hove or West Wothing services?

Also any idea where 313205 is located?

As mentioned elsewhere, the Brighton to West Worthing trains cease in May. Of course the south coast is famously less busy in the summer than in winter. Not. I went on a 313 last April from Barnham to Brighton. It was full from Worthing and very full from Shoreham.

I'll travel along the Coastway on 21 May. I'll use 08:28 from Southampton and 10:31 from Brighton on the eastbound journey. I'll return the same way from Eastbourne in the evening.

Are the trains above booked with 313s, or are they mixed with 377s in terms of allocation that it's impossible to know before the day?

Does anyone know where I can find the current 313 diagrams for the timetable? Cheers
