"Print at home" tickets are dead as a format, so I'm assuming you mean e-tickets that are supplied as a pdf that you can print off if you wish. No, it's completely incorrect to say seat reservations are essential. How do they manage using them on operators that don't offer seat reservations such as Northern otherwise?
