After searching posts i have found that the Northern 180's work the 09.30 from Hazel Grove to Preston.

Does any one known the full days routings on Mon to Fri for the 180's.

Thank You in advance.

Ah, you mean diagrams ( I have edited the topic title) . Some diagrams are posted on thejunction.org.uk but I had a look and can't find Northern 180 diagrams on there.

Both diagrams begin and stable at Blackpool North LMD. I'm afraid I can never remember the headcodes, if someone can add them I'll edit the diagrams accordingly.

NH801:
06:53 Blackpool North-Hazel Grove
09:33 Hazel Grove-Preston
ECS Preston-Blackpool North
ECS Blackpool North-Preston
14:23 Preston-Hazel Grove
16:33 Hazel Grove-Preston
17:56 Preston-Manchester Victoria
19:28 Manchester Victoria-Blackpool North

The ECS between Preston and Blackpool North is for stabling purposes as there is no where suitable to stable the train at Preston.

NH802 FX:
07:18 Blackpool North-Manchester Victoria
09:22 Manchester Victoria-Blackpool North
11:20 Blackpool North-Manchester Victoria
13:22 Manchester Victoria-Blackpool North
15:20 Blackpool North-Manchester Victoria
17:19 Manchester Victoria-Blackpool North
19:20 Blackpool North-Manchester Victoria
21:22 Manchester Victoria-Blackpool North

NH802 FO:
As NH802 except on arrival in Manchester at 20:45 set works ECS to Newton Heath to stable.

NH803 FO:
ECS Newton Heath TMD-Manchester Victoria
21:22 Manchester Victoria-Blackpool North

The 180s weren't running a full schedule the week just past. I usually catch them both ways to work in Manchester and only one of the services Tue-Fri was operated by a 180. They were replaced by either a single 156 (mornings) and a single 142 on Friday evening.

The 156 was standing room only by Adlington on the way in to Manchester and was not able to pick up a lot of passengers from Blackrod onwards. The evening trains back (19:28 ex Man Vic) can cope with a single 156, but was pretty busy. The 142 was standing room only until Bolton though.

Not sure what the problem was last week and whether it will drag on to this week as well, but if you are looking out for them this week, they may not be on full schedule again, although as a passenger I hope they are.

There are two 180s currently stabled on the yard at Blackpool ready for tomorrows service.

I'm not sure what the problem was with them last week, a pity really as they had been doing quite well recently.

No doubt the commuters will be pleased too. They aren't pleased when their 'posh' trains aren't available :)

We've been spoilt to be honest. It'll be quite a come down when the 180s leave. I've had a couple of years of morning naps in the former 1st class carriage though, so I can't complain.

I think they'll be missed by most of the crews who have been involved with operating them too. We've had 2 years of driving fast, very comfortable and modern intercity trains.
