No its not, a mission for you next time you see it, clock how many empty seats are at the back of the bus, likewise the Silverdale service coming down from Ripley the kids just dont like sitting at the back of the bus preferring to stand at the front with there mates

I was in Bolton yesterday (Saturday), saw the following 15572, 15577, 15579, 16652, & 17018 on 125's/126's.
UID E400 on 22's.

15685 and 15686 on last night 301. I was a passenger on 15685 and it was being blew all over the place with the strong and wind he did well to keep it from being blew into the verge. Scanias shouldn't be in service on Saturday night with the drinkers. They usually put on a Volvo B10M instead. I also seen 15684 going WC Hospital whilst waiting for my bus to Carlisle.

On Workington annexe.
15683, 47006 (before it done backshift 30) and 22598 (I think!)

In other findings
34218 done the last normal 50 of the day.
47023 done nightshift 47 then later on it ran the short X5 to Keswick.
47006 done nightshift on 30.


In Carlisle: 34700 done 75.
34691 done 61.
And a 104 branded E300 worked short 600 Cockermouth - Carlisle

These were last nights findings Saturday 15th January 2011 (15.01.11)

Mega rare for the 600 to have 104 branded Enviro. The last ones are both Dart operated normally. The last B10M working on the 600 gets into Carlisle and does a 62 before going back to the depot. The Enviro you saw would have also likely to have been on the 65 as well then.

20451 is out on the 554/685 today. Why they cannot put a E300 on this duty I will never know!

Odd that they've done it to a bus listed on disposals..... Surely 16706/8/11 should have took priority, with those being proper allocations to Preston...

Indeed. It was seen operating the 59 between Preston and Blackburn. Apparently Preston don't have B-tech programming equipment so they shoved an LED in it. Assume that's the reason the N reg Olys have window boards for the time been as well.

Slight point to note on the Britech blind situation, if any now go faulty or require parts they get replaced with either new or recon LED or Flipdot Hanover's ( or SHOULD ) Britech's are actively being phased out due to age and repairs but most importantly DDA legislation regarding destination equipment, yes older vehicles are not required to have LED or Flip but if we have customer's who cannot see the destination correctly and clearly then the bus may as well not even be there.

16103 (as mentioned by Paul mcgill, if it happens) and 16649 in. 16714 will be coming back into the fleet after refurb.
That in theory, should say byebye to Lillyhall's Leylands!
2 extra vehicles in, and only 2 Leylands in service on paper...

Interesting thought! Hopefully a load of the Olys that Manc have put in reserve come up to replace the remaining Leylands mainly at KL. Who knows!

Unless morecambe bought the LED for 20463(something i got told a while ago) , but there a older hanover blinds on the balcony just in case.

I'm not sure if ME need it anymore. Its an M reg and is on disposal so I reckon once Preston have finished with the only reason for it coming back to Morecambe will be for storage.

mmmm interesting about KL be Scans I assume. If it does happen wonder where the Tridents will end up...

Kendal's rumoured E400s are standard integrals, allegedly. March is the date mentioned.

This would free up Tridents to Preston to convert their decker operations to low floor. Morecambe is also a possibility I guess.
