Travelling LM, Crewe-Milton Keynes return, tomorrow.
On LM site, I added Network Railcard, but MK Plusbus fare not discounted.

Correct or a glitch?
Could I buy with discount at station?

Not a big deal, but useful for future reference.

I'd assume you can only get the discount when it's valid for the train journey too - but I can't find that documented anywhere.

That would be my assumption, but that's all it is, an assumption! Like you, I can;t find anything that says so!

I suspect the £13 Network Railcard minimum fare may be the problem here, as PlusBus tickets are supposed to be issued separately from the rail ticket.

Though the OP states travelling tomorrow which is Saturday when the minimum charge does not apply. I suspect the discount is only available if the rail ticket bought at the same time is discounted.
e.g. plusbus bought with a CDR to Cambridge was discounted with my Gold Card when I went there last month (on a saturday)

http://www.plusbus.info/how-issue says the minimum fare doesn't apply to Plusbus tickets. Maybe that is specifically to get around that problem?

Before you set off tomorrow, at Crewe ticket office ask for plusbus for MK.
