Does anyone else think that they can hear a bicycle chain noise periodically on Class 745s? Is that in all coaches?

Sorry I can't think of a better way of explaining it. It might be when the train is slowing down.

I think I know what this is - possibly a bit of clicking as the brakes are applied (I think).
I was thinking this is probably the only noise I can think of that matches the OP description. Although not all 745s do it and the ones that do don't do it all the time so if it's happening all the time it might be something else.
As to what it is it's something in the air system for the brakes that makes the noise as the driver moves the PBC through the brake settings.

Perhaps it's the sound of the freewheel operating when the driver stops pedalling downhill?

Is it the ‘click’ heard at 1:10 just before the brake squeal?

I don't think so. It sounds more like a bike freewheeling downhill. Maybe if there's a video from inside the train.

Should be heard just after 6:47.
That is the brake controller noise. Like I said, not all 745s do it and the ones that do don't do it all the time. It just means the driver is moving the power-brake controller.
