I see from various newspaper front pages that Chancellor Rishie Sunak is coming under pressure to make a substantial cut in fuel duty to ease the cost of living crisis.
If this is in the cards, one wonders whether rail passengers will see a similar car in fares.
(Rhetorical answer: not holding my breath).
