With a lack of bus and rail services from this station, we next board the 2101 Greater Anglia service 1K88 to Norwich, arriving there at 2137 on Monday evening.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We next board the 1426 Ipswich Buses Greenwich Greyhound service 2 to Ipswich (the bus stop adjacent to Coprolite Street on Duke Street) that arrives there at 1442 on Tuesday afternoon.

This posting has been struck-through on account of what is stated in the italicized start of the following posting which has made this posting that used a different start time and a different bus service number redundant.

There is a 1 which does exactly the same journey 15 minutes prior so let's go with that (the 1 and the 2 are each half hourly providing a 15 minute headway along shared sections of the route).

As we have got the 14:11 service to 1 to Coprolite Street arriving at 14:27, this then means that we can walk around the corner to the Holy Trinity Church and board the 1443 Ipswich Buses Bixley Buster service 4 to Bixley (Glemham Drive), arriving there at 1456 on Tuesday afternoon.

This area of Ipswich appears to only be served by the one bus service and a cursory glance doesn’t show any alternative bus stops offering a more exciting service.

Having spent half an hour in this residential suburb, we board the 15:26 Ipswich Buses service 4. We alight at Ipswich Buttermarket at 15:56 this Thursday afternoon.

Well this is the sort of situation I often get us into ... I can't see any other alternatives for the remainder of the day, and the only services that serve Mileham don't run at the weekend, so I assume we must wait for over two whole days and catch the first available service on Monday morning, this being the 0903 Go To Town service 32 to Kings Lynn, Interchange arriving at 1025 on Monday morning.

Happy to be pointed to other alternatives I may have overlooked!

There is just one more bus here today, 1539 Konectbus service 32. This service has only two more stops after we board it, so we alight at its only remaining stop outside Mileham, Litcham (Druids Lane) at 1545 on Friday.
