So I was just searching from a journey from Mudchute to Woolwich Arsenal for this Sunday 13th Feb, and Google Maps gave me the option of a direct DLR service between the two stations - but as far as I am aware such a service shouldn't exist.
Further research showed that there were no direct services shown on Google Maps from Woolwich to Bank, only to Stratford and Mudchute.
I checked the TFL website for DLR engineering works but there is supposed to be a normal service this weekend
However, when I tried to search up on the TFL journey planner, it says that there are direct services to Bank as usual and no direct services to Mudchute as shown on Google Maps.
Could someone with better resources please tell me what is going on here, and if the direct service from Mudchute to Woolwich is actually operating since if it is I might have to go for a ride?

The explanation as to why this happened is there was a requirement to reduce trains into Bank because of a transformer fault, it’s explained here:

…but when it actually finishes I have no idea.

In this case Google Maps is the one that is correct. There's currently a limit as to how many trains can be on the Bank branch at any one time because of an electrical issue, so Woolwich Arsenal trains that would normally run to Bank are instead running to/from the bay platform at Mudchute. The specific reason Mudchute was chosen (rather than Lewisham or Canary Wharf) was so that the number of trains required for service would remain the same.

It's an incredibly poor show from TFL to be advertising this as a 'good' service, when it's actually an ammended timetable with some key direct links cut.

It’s the old sleight of hand, ie “we’re running a special reduced timetable, but it’s operating normally”… o_O

Are you certain the works are not complete and the special service is still running?

I received an email from TfL 4 days ago (see attachment) saying "Normal Service resumed on the DLR. [...] We are sorry for the recent disruption in services between Bank and Canning Town. This was due to the failure of a key power supply unit in the Shadwell area resulting in reduced services on this route. A replacement unit was secured and installed as quickly as possible and a full service is now operating. Thank you for your patience."

Also, the TfL Live status did (eventually) say "Special Service" during the works but now has reverted to "Good Service".

I would think it's more likely that the special service timetable was loaded into Google Maps with an unspecified end date, and was not removed properly when the works ended.

You’re right; the normal service is now running again, thankfully
