Like such things as a signal to even a loco?

I would love to one day own a Semaphore. I'd plant it in a garden or something and admire the thing. There's one in Moffat, no where near the old railway (click), obviously privately owned.

Oh, and a steam loco would be nice too

Not really. Someone I know has a signalbox sign outside his house, a set of block bells on the mantlepiece and a semaphore stop signal in the study!

I got an old cast BR double arrow off an unknown railfreight loco, i've got a smokebox number plate off a Bullied Pacific and a steam boiler pressure gauge, im not sure if its off a Bullied or a BR standard!

I own an original station sign for 'Liverpool Central' when it was the proper Central station. Dated 1894.

A few keys and bits like whistles, guards leather bag x 2, set of flags, bardic lamp, halo 2 modern bardic thing (not so good for shunting, but much better as a general purpose torch, and it actually fits in your pocket), union badge, HVVs of various shapes and sizes, The Black Book and so on. Just generally useful operations type thingys.

I have far too much "junk" hock:

Mostly signalling related (block instruments, diagrams, couple of nameboards) but also have some un-used aluminium BR arrows and a station name board. Also have plenty of smaller items such as uniform, ties, various paperwork, bags, whistles, badges etc.....

I Picked up a BR Wool Pullover, Long sleeved, from the Yeovil railcentre, came in handy under other clothes in the recent very cold weather. They had quite alot of old rail uniforms, jerseys, shirts, ties all in good condition etc as did the shop at the Llangollen railway in Wales. I am trying to get hold of an pre 1976 Thomas Cook European Rail time table and something showing routes of closed lines in this Country. Rgds.

You want the Ian Allan Sectional Maps of Britain's Railways book. This shows all the routes of closed lines, together with the pre-Grouping companies they belonged to, as well as current lines. My edition is as at January 1982, but there may have been editions since then.

I have an old Bardic lamp, gonna be hard to get those batteries though. Also got plenty of old Central Trains uniform bits and namebadges. There's a couple of other items that shall have to remain nameless, and a 'Central Farewell' headboard as worn by the very last Central Trains departure (00:15 New St-Coventry).

I acquired a naff paper headrest cover from a 185 when they were new, which said "Welcome aboard the brand new Pennine class 185 - Standard class". It has pride of place on my swivelly computer chair.

Also got somewhere a very old faded train ticket from about August 1994, part of a day return from Edinburgh - Leuchars. No idea why I still have it, it just evaded the bin for years!

My extortionate rented shoebox flat has little room for anything else, would be great to have an old signalbox lever that worked the living room lights.

When I worked at Kings Cross we had to work trains out of Hornsey Depot where the 313s and 312s were maintained.
Apparently the BTP had to investigate one of the fitters and went round to his house.
They found he had been systematically stealing gear from the depot and that his Intercom was a Ripper Cab/Cab unit and that his place was furnished with 313 seats and had BR toilet rolls and soap in the bathroom.

I have a couple of LNER wagon plates recovered off old railway vans on the farm and an old cast iron Shut and fasten gate sign aqquired off a gate we scrapped in the 70s and stuck in the barn. I painted it up the other year and we have it on one of the LC gates at Stapleford Railway on public days

I don't know what 313 seats cushions are like now but in the early 80's they were a kind of turquoise/green colour with foam insides and were a pus fit into the seat. When we used to work the units empty at night we would build a bed out of them - very comfy for a few hours kip.

I've collected a few modest bits over the years. I've an NSE station sign from Hove, a couple of mirrors with the etched BR double arrow symbols in the centre, an old wooden framed bevel edged compartment mirror with SR etched in the centre from an old 2-HAP unit, a complete compartment lamp fitting with switch from a 4-CIG first class compartment which I have converted to 240v with the appropriate 2 pin bayonet fitting and mushroom shaped bulb. 2xLT 1983 tube stock "ball" strap hangers, a central line carriage map (before the Ongar branch closed). A complete shunting signal including cast iron post & base (very heavy and sits in my garden!). A 1920's loop style bakelite strap hanger from an LT Q stock train, a light cover fitting from a class 08 shunter complete with red filter for reverse running, 4x BR head/tail oil lamps 2 of them still with their oil reservoirs and wick. and finally one non railway item.. a London Transport "request" bus stop with route information flag attached (again, very heavy!).

Those are rather special, the North Eastern Region stuff is much sought after, especially the 'station specific' items like yours. I've always had a thing about BR enamel signs and if my lottery numbers ever came up trumps I'd probably fill the house with them. I've got a few interesting bits 'n' bobs including a flame cut panel from 37 275, a pair of semaphore stop arms, a smokebox plate from a BR Standard Class 4MT (75xxx), a couple of Rugby station signs, various small items from Class 50s etc. I bought a Maidenhead totem a couple of years ago which I doubt I'll ever part with.
