1st Class ALR - Avanti

Quick question, i'm sure i've seen reference on this forum regarding this but wondered if anyone has any recent experience... have there been any issues with acceptance of 1st Class All Line Rovers on Avanti West Coast in 1st class accomodation (rather than Standard Premium)? I seem to recall someone saying a TM had tried to deny them access in 1st.

The TM was in the wrong. The ticket is valid, as long as you're complying with the relevant time restrictions.

Thanks I assumed that was the case. Was wondering if anyone had any further issues (other than potential for lack of capacity I guess)

I made several trips with Avanti on a 1st ALR in November and never had an issue with any TM.
