Think we have a winner. Windsor and Eton Central was also understood to be quite busy in terms of numbers of passengers per annum, but somewhat less than Chafford Hundred in sunny Essex.

I'm drawn to say that Glossop tickets might be bought by people who actually get off at Dinting or Hadfield too and vice versa as the stations are in a similar area and are probably the same price to/from anywhere.
Reasonable perhaps in the context of infrequent service and small populations and compared to other stations on the routes, but minimal when compared with some of the stations previously mentioned.
I don't really follow the logic, I'm sorry. Outbound passengers from all three stations would surely buy a ticket valid from where they originated on the vast majority of occasions. There might be a few instances of somebody who is, say, dropped off at Dinting in the morning but finds it more convenient to return to Glossop doing this, but in my experience of working at these stations, this would be a minimal number. Most season tickets were GM Traincards in my day, as these were cheaper than point-to-point seasons to Manchester.
