I went on 150108 yesterday and it had USB ports which aren’t mentioned on the list. Does it lack other modifications or does the list need updating?

I was at Carlisle today and saw 156457 on a service to Morpeth. I asked if it was now a Northern unit and was told that it is now allocated to Heaton so it looks like it’s another unit to go in for refurbishment.

Pretty sure that was just on one of the usual diagrams which are worked by a Scotrail unit. Real time trains shows that it's back working a Scotrail service now and I've not heard anything about Northern getting any further units from Scotrail.

Although 156456/7/8 all show as allocated to Newton Heath, but leased to ScotRail.

Northern use a Scotrail unit all day at the moment, previously it came over on a morning and returned on an evening and just stabled at Newcastle for the day but now it does a few trips between so its a different 156 each day

On its way back to scotland, you was probably being wound up.

That’s probably it. Sometimes you expect more knowledge from people than they have. To some people it’s a job while to others it’s more.

Is it maybe a temporary move?

There’s been a daytime diagram covered by a ScotRail 156 since the May 2018 timetable change - this replaced the daytime through services between the Tyne Valley and the Glasgow South Western lines. The first diagram saw the unit visit Nunthorpe, then it was cut back to spend the day at Newcastle, and more recently it’s now booked to work a return Newcastle - Carlisle trip during the time it was previously stabled.

It’s a different unit each day (impossible for it to be the same unit two days running as the diagram starts at Dumfries and ends at Corkerhill), the units remain leased to ScotRail and remain allocated to Corkerhill. 156456/457/458 remain Corkerhill allocated and are showing Newton Heath in error.

Could a certain train be making a comeback?
Check tonight departing Crewe.
I don’t know could it? Looking through old posts has it been missing for over a year after a dewirement at Guide Bridge?

re: 156456/457/458
I've got these as all being RETB fitted - is this still the case, as fitted units are highly unlikely to move away from Scotland without it being removed first?

They are still Scotrail units with no plans to move.

Won't run. Next unit isn't due out until 19th Jan with input of next unit on 22nd.
The one that's there 323225 is chalked up for start of march because its having digital trains which I think probably entails the USB ports and WiFi.

Does anyone know where unit 323236 is, not been seen for a while.
It's having some TLC, a lot of TLC since mid September . Currently due back the end of this month

236 doesn't appear to have worked since 10/09/21 when it failed to work the 2032 Man Picc - Hadfield. It had to be replaced by 323228 off the Crewe diagrams, resulting in the 2101 Picc - Crewe being cancelled.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread but I was on my way home from work last night (about 18:30) and half a Northern 150 was on the back of a Allelys low loader, not to sure where it was off to, it looked to have to have come out the back entrance on St Marys Road the entrance nearer the railway bridge.

Probably half of 150124 that hit a tree and has roof damage and needs to go for some TLC
