I don't have another job

Anyone know what the part-time shifts are like? It looks like they are bending over backwards to get drivers with part-time work now offered. I would like constant back shifts and part time, ie 4 days a week, but I'm not sure if they would go for that, lol. Is there not flexible working now in work place?

£11ph rising to £13ph after two years service. You would also be eligible for part of the sign on bonus if you already hold a licence.

Someone posted in this thread about it:

However, further information is here:

That's for Scotstoun. There is another link for Overtown, but the content is the same

We are looking for Trainee & Qualified Bus Drivers to join our team in Scotstoun on part time hours!

Do you fancy a change? We can offer you a rewarding career with a difference! Going out on the open road as a bus driver, you'll work on your own initiative and take ownership of your bus on its travels, looking after passenger safety and providing a great customer experience. You'll drive different routes, issue tickets and drop people off at their destinations.

*If you already have a PCV licence, you will automatically come in at £11.00 per hour (pay rates increase to £12.35 p/h, future pay rise pending). Part-time contracts are up to 25 hours per week.

If you currently have a PCV Licence, we are offering a £4,000 sign on bonus, which will be paid to you over a 12 month period. The £4,000 figure is based on a full-time contract (38 hours per week). Part-time contracts are available and the sign on bonus will be paid pro-rata.

As a trainee bus driver you will be earning £11 per hour after you pass your test (£10.00 whilst training, lasting approximately 4- 5 weeks)

Flexible working options! 4, 5 and 6 day working weeks available - Potential annual earnings of 30,000 +

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is a good communicator and gets on well with people. You must be patient, a safe driver, reliable and calm under pressure. Happy to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends, you should also have a full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points).

Training & Qualifications:

Full paid training will be provided which includes;

Training for a PCV Licence (if applying as a trainee driver)
Vehicle and route familiarisation
Ticket machine and ticket type training

I have applied, thanks. Do any of you know a good site where I can practice CPC mock training?
