Amazon Music albums availability vs purchasing MP3s via their website?

I have an Amazon Music subscription for one Alexa device.

I have noticed that not all albums are available to buy as MP3s are on it?

Does anyone know why?

Apple Music does display the albums so it's not as if they are excluded from streaming services.

One artist example is Tölzer Kabenchor.

In fact, when I go to the artist page, it doesn't display any albums, despite there being albums by them on Amazon Music that one can stream. Although not the full range of albums one can purchasable as MP3s, show up.

Anyone else experiences this?

I did send some feedback to Amazon but even then I couldn't find the right category to send feedback.

More generally I think the music industry could do a lot more to improve music metadata

Amazon Music used to be fine but they started messing up like this, i don't regret switching to Bandcamp though

Does Bandcamp do general artist streaming as opposed to just those who sell music through them? I do purchase digital and physical music through them.

I'm with Amazon Music because it's only £3.99 if you use it on just one Alexa device. It is a cheaper way to access streaming music. I might have to think again if I keep coming across issues like this. It would certainly put me off paying full price to access it.

I do buy physical music and also frequent second-hand record shops, so streaming isn't my only source for music.

I'm reminded of AutoRIP on Amazon for CD. Some CDs come with MP3s and other don't. However, it seems to be rather random because if you have remastered albums in a reissue series, you find some have AutoRIP with MP3s and other CDs don't. I can't believe record labels would only allow AutoRIP for some CDs in a reissue series and not others when they feature the same band and musicians in said band in both. That's an older issue though.

AFAIK just artists which sell through them, which suits me as everyone i like is on there. Others may not be so lucky of course.
