Three Stagecoach members of staff at the underpass today, the two normal inspectors and a driver who was running shuttles. 20131 and 16877 were there all day on hand to do out of service shuttles into town.

Not much else to report, saw Kendal King earlier and the rear display in his solo is dead!

forgot to mention in previous post, that Lillyhall's displays have been updated again.
side on LED's now has "000 Not In Service" static. Scrolling has re-appeared on Moorclose Circulars and Harrington Circulars. the route number is static on the left hand side, with "Moorclose Circular" or "Harrington Circular" on scroll.

14259 spotted leaving one of the layover stands at Lancaster at about 1310 today, I assume it had come in on a Dallam run?

18354 on a very full 555 (due to schools finishing early) at 1320.

Think it would have been a Dallam run, would have thought they finished early.

They did indeed finish early, a friend of mine was having a chat with his girlfriend who was on the bus at 1130-ish.

What it was still doing there at 1310 though, I don't know....

Workington Transport Heritage Trust have announced their Boxing Day bus service for this year. It is thought that CHH 210T will run the service. Please get out and support them :)

I thought your front one was working. You were running in service past the hospital!

I will check to see if the displays are working correctly, when i get into work.

It was when i was going pass the Hospital/White Cross, when the display was getting switched off! Unlike Stagecoach, Travellers do not have "Sorry Not in Service" on the display units, so there get switched off.

A good few inches of snow in West Cumbria today + last Saturday before Christmas = chaos!

Was a bit hectic today in Worky!

20962 'was' on 50, until it had an RTA on Wastwater Avenue at around 1400. http://www.flickr.com/photos/williamsonm/5271085383/ (image of 20962 damage)

- 47007 replaced 20962 for a run, then an Volvo Oly of some description came down from the depot to replace 47007!! 47007 remained on the annex for the rest of the afternoon...
Services were diverted via Mossbay and Westfield Drive (Missing out Wastwater) and still were at 1600. Services were also being diverted down Hawkshead Avenue and then meeting Newlands Lane at Ashfield Park because of ice and snow down Lorton Avenue/Councils incompetence. Before crashing 20962 was wheel spinning right the way along Lorton Ave, only going about 5 mph or so!

AND 35247 died in the middle of the bus station, all services delayed due to its obsque place of dying - Scanias on 300 leaving 25 mins late...

47616 on Moorclose 51 (side LED static change from "Moorclose" to "Circular")
47005 and 47061 on Harrington Circular (side LED scrolling "Harrington Circular")
20473 and 20923 on Seaton

34215 on short 300

Hardly - a new bumper assembly and windscreen are all that's required.

The damage may look major, but remember it's only fibreglass which makes it look worse than it is.

and does anyone know where 20436 is I want it out of West Cumbria asap.

its sat on the annexe.

20959 on 554.
34702 on 94.
33076 (i think) on 66.
Didn't really see any other Stagecoach services, been at Metro Centre most of the day.

got stuck with a Reays Primo this morning, and all I can say is give me 47005 any day!!! (no, I wasn't a traitor and got Reays instead of Stagecoach. Reays contracted route 75 is the only bus to serve the village where my dad lives. I'd usually take the 20 minute walk to Morton Park and get Stagecoach, but there was 3 inches of snow, so that walk wasn't happening!)

Exactly, will be back taking over the LF's in no time haha. Fitters van came down, removed some of the dodgy flappy bits and the headlamp then drove it back to LL. Was far from impressed when they said to the fitter, 'Send anything down from Lillyhall, its only Moorclose' :o

Been bloody deadly the weather today!

Did they still have the old blinds?

As far as I can remember both 16708 & 16711 have been working with boards in the window, the displays are blank. Though I'm not to sure if 16711 on the Blackpool run had an orange LED display but I might be thinking of another bus.

The Preston Bus Optare Delta training bus was on the move yesterday, seen heading south out of Preston.

The snow today had effected a few services in the Preston area. Managed to get in to Preston from Bamber Bridge after waiting 45mins for a 125/6. Returned on the 150/1 which missed off part of the route due to poor road conditions. Many services were operating with delays with some local housing estates not being served.

Thanks, would have thought LED's would be fitted or old Hanovers just to see off the B-techs!

Also, would a Profile work on the 554 in Carlisle?

This is the first Magic Bus MAN to be painted into the new livery in Manchester for those who are interested:

And finely does anyone know why 20132 has gone onto disposal at KL? They've put another B10 into reserve as well and I'm not sure why...
