In the end, everyone has a hill they are willing to die on, because they can see that the alternative is so repulsive that trying to fight, even if you lose, is preferable to rolling over.

For me, domestic 'vaccine passports' are such a hill. I sincerely hope there are enough others that agree and we can stop it before it gets started.

There is also now serious evidence of deaths from vaccine related blood clots.

As the deaths appear to be impacting younger people who are at very little risk of dying from Covid, this seems to be a scandal being brushed under the carpet.

Certainly I had lost a close relative to such, I would be absolutely fuming.

I suspect in time this is going to do as much damage to the cause of vaccine takeup as the refusal to allow single measles, mumps and rubella vaccines on the NHS, before which there was not significant dissent from vaccines in the UK.

They cannot admit that they won’t just have this carry on for years and years with this and other variants, with no reflection at all that we live in a democracy. I don’t see how this ends well for society at all.

To be honest I've thought it inevitable for some time now. All you need to do is look at what's happening in comparable Western democracies; we may be lagging behind but there's a common direction of travel. I have every confidence in my immune system. I somehow survived 2020 without any vaccinations despite regular commuting to central London.

I'm damned if I'm going to have the thing every six months and feel like crap for days afterwards for the rest of my life.

Couldn't agree more. I got vaccinated so I could have a foreign holiday and restore freedoms in the UK that we were all used to pre 2020. I see no point in getting any more jabs as Boris and his cronies take away our freedoms anyway!
