Transferring a pension in as trainee train driver

I think that you are no longer able to transfer pensions in. Could be wrong though, I'm sure there's a pensions buff around here somewhere

It depends on what kind of pension you currently have, and what TOC you are joining. But generally the answer will be no, unless transferring in from another rail industry pension scheme.

I’d leave it where it is especially if it’s the 87 pension.

Unfortunately it’s the 2006 scheme.
