I feel more confident about the SJT but with a few people saying how little errors they got, I think I’m a goner for this round. Good luck however!!

Deadline for Tilbury for me was tomorrow, so hoping to know by end of next week.

Any idea of how you did? I think I missed 16 symbols and 3 track errors :/ what’s annoying is that I was consistently scoring 100% on the traineedriver programme (which is similar but I’d say harder on the symbol part as it’s not as clearly set out as the real thing, but easier on the track part as it only ever skips a stop, it doesn’t change colour/have two trains appear/have a random half circle train). Waiting game now.

Quite frankly it depends how many symbols you managed to check. I had almost 140 as far as I remember, but 16 errors might be a bit too high, but as I said it depends how many you completed.

dont think i missed any track errors, i missed a few shape errors though and a few wrong, but It did want you to prioritise the track test for test 3,so i'll wait and see. Fingers crossed.

yeah part 3 was tough, especially when they started going faster "high demend"

These tests often are designed to see how you deal with pressure rather than just speed and accuracy! It’s impossible to not make any errors it’s sometimes about how you recover yourself.

I’m in no way sure but I’d say you’d need to be in the 90% upwards for accuracy, but also when you do a lot of these tests it’s to do with how you deal under pressure…. No one can successfully perform 2 tasks side by side (not even my wife) so you will get some wrong but it’s important to recompose yourself, sometimes better to miss 2 and get back in the Rhythm, that test is a lot about timing

Perhaps they are progressing applicants first who have not had any assessments with OPC previously and therefore require longer testing process at assessment days?

Congrats to everyone getting through to DMI, if you put that in search (DMI, or driver manager interview) you will find all the information you need to know, good luck to everyone still waiting to hear from your chosen depot, hopefully I'll get through and won't have to do the tests again as I passed them all in 2018, I must admit it's nerve wracking waiting to find out if I've passed the application process.

If you pass Freightliner psychometric tests they are valid for 5 years, that's what I was told anyway.

Deadline for completing then was Thursday.

I completed them Monday.

Got the confirmation today.
