Yes, unfortunately it’s not there. I checked the careers page and can see they haven’t sent any emails since before the interview date. Very odd.
To be honest, it was quite straightforward, thanks to the forum I had an idea of what it’s expected from me and I did the full assessment and MMI in a day so wasn’t over pressurised as I would have if done in a different session.
Look up driver qualities and add them in your examples that you can relate with. Good luck
Not to be nervous is the key. How you deliver your response is what they are looking for. Get there early enough to give yourself time to refresh, have some water, calm yourself down and mentally revise your answers quickly. Come across as confident and professional. When answering the questions, don't rush. Listen to questions carefully, take a couple of seconds, relax and then answer. Respond clearly, not too slow or too fast and give as much detail as you can. The fewer questions the interviewer needs to ask, the better. This will demonstrate you can deliver clear and complete info when required which is another quality a train driver should have.
As mentioned, stay calm and always remember, to have got to this point you have got a lot of what they're looking for not to mention that you've beaten thousands of people on the way.
Congratulations. I'm a little confused as to how you have only just passed and yet they've offered you a course early next year? How come you seem to have bypassed the talent pool? Although good news for you my hearing this is infuriating in light I had my MMI result in May and still no course has been identified...
in my opinion, others are available, how long you remain in the talent pool is governed by how well you did in your application/assessments/interviews
My interviews were smashed out of the park....can't say re assessday, but I feel it went pretty well. I think other factors are at play here....other opinions are available

Fair enough mate. I know that feeling when you come out and say that to yourself knowing if you didn't pass you actually couldn't have done any better.
Congratulations, what depot did you apply for ?
I have no idea why it has progressed that quickly for me while others seem to wait an age. There have been a few other people that have been offered courses quickly too and there is plenty of speculation about why but nobody knows for definite.
What happens in that scenario? I presume you would have signed a contract with your new TOC or not? Would people still be in their existing jobs waiting for a course space and then sign a contract?
Our contact told me it was from date of application, but I really don't think that's accurate. It would make better sense from date of assessment day passes etc, as some people may have an older assessment day pass from another application round or different TOC, and obviously a more current DMI and MMI. So to enter the pool as the assessment day pass is older and could expire then you'd think that candidate could be selected sooner? Ultimately they are inundated with candidates all the time so in reality probably are not bothered at this stage if a person's assessment expires, as it'd be like "next". It's painful waiting on a monthly email to be told the same thing with no real time line of when I may be offered a course. So much so what I'm putting on hold in my current career I'm now questioning why, as this train driving dream may just be that....a dream

Hi Elisa, congratulations on passing your Assessment Day. Your DMI is pretty much a normal job interview. They ask questions such as how much you know about GTR and its brands etc aswell as why you want to be a driver, what experiences you have that are comparable to the role, what challenges you think drivers face... So basically research the company, train types, route network and think about the role, why you want to do it and match it to your experiences.Passed my Assessment Centre day with GTR last Friday, got an email yesterday saying the next step is Driver Manager Interview at your local depot.
Was just wondering if anyone had any clues as to the types of questions they'll be asking, I know a few people that have failed at this stage so would love to have as much confidence going in as possible.

I sat assessment centre in October . Passed . Sat DMI beginning of November . Failed . However on the DMI was told that if I passed DMI and MMI that I would likely be on a course starting January in Hornsey for 14 weeks. That was for Northern. Maybe assessment scores along with everything else can push people up and down the list ♀️
