Movie from the 70s or 80s

I'm trying to remember a film I saw about a group stuck and pursued at a closed station. Does anyone remember it or what it was called? It was set in the 70s or 80s, certainly well within the Plain Blue DMU period and the plot is that someone pulls the chain at a disused station and the group get off and they unsuccessfully try and stop all the others, meanwhile they are all pursued by a ghostly porter, it turns out they're all dead or something. It's been years since I saw it and I'm sure it was called something Halt. Anyone have any ideas? It features BR blue 117s or 116s/115s. It might be based loosely on The Ghost Train but with tweaks. IIRC the ghostly man looked a lot like Max Von Sydow but I checked and it wasn't him. Any ideas?

Only one I can vaguely think of is The Mind of Mr Soames. Plot doesn't really feature much of what you've mentioned but I do recall the all blue-era DMU being stopped via the cord. Look for the 1h 21m mark onwards

Looks very 70s but not it. I do wonder how many takes that scene of falling from thd train took though hehe. I'm sure it was something Halt though. That said it has been a while since I saw it. The premise is that they're pursued by a ghostly porter in BR uniform and they try to flag down passing trains but with no success and it turns out they're all dead so almost The Ghost Train with a touch of Life on Mars mixed in there. I'll keep searching.

No I have that on DVD. This film used 1st Gen DMUs 116s or 117s in blue.

Creep's a good film though.
