The new 2022 timetable is available on bahn.de from today, and has been on oebb.at for a couple of weeks.
Some highlights:
Some highlights:
- Non-stop ICE Sprinter Berlin - Köln taking only 4 hours instead of 4:30. Infuriatingly for UK-bound travellers this has a 2 minute connection with the Brussels ICE in one direction, and 1 minute in the other

- New NightJet Vienna - Munich - Paris, though only on alternate days(not literally so as the russians like to do - fixed days of the week!)
- Vienna portion of the Berlin - Vienna/Budapest/Przemyśl Nightjet extended to Graz
- Vienna - Bucharest Night Train re-routed via Timisoara
- New Vienna - Cluj Night Train
- Daily RailJet Vienna - Innsbruck - Lindau - Frankfurt
- New connection Ljubljana - Graz - Budapest
- Berlin - Vienna ICE extended to Hamburg
- New daily NightJet Zürich - Amsterdam, using RDC rolling stock
- Summer only Munich - Rimini Eurocity to run year-round
