57312 has dragged 768001 today from Castle Donnington EMDC - Crewe South Yard
It is set to return back to Castle Donnington tomorrow via a similar path.

My only question is- why? What business does 768001 have in Crewe South Yard?
Any and all information is appreciated.

Move was 5q42 1214 castle donnington to crewe seen myself at loughborough running 28 early.
However possibly overhead testing in the yard.
Apparently it's due to be moved back on Tuesday 10 th August on the 5q56 1446 crewe south yard to castle donnington move.
Last week it was at hams hall reception line close to coleshill Parkway doing some trials in diesel mode with 57310 close by.
Most likely for testing.
Or maybe a ceremony or something?.

My Dad was from Castle Donington and seeing it spelt with a double-n like that used to drive him wild!

768001 didn't return to Castle Donington. 57312 took 319441 from Crewe South Yard.

Yes saw 319441 return working also nice to see 319441 at Wigston in London Midlands livery.
Next one for conversion.
So glad to see in its remaining livery before it becomes the next 768.

319373 joined 768001 at Crewe South Yard yesterday. A Friday Only ROG operated 1S20 14:28 Willesden PRDC - Shieldmuir has also appeared which may or may not be connected. Unsurprisingly it didn't run today but it might be worth keeping an eye on next week, though no doubt it won't run then either.
