How much traffic to/from Hull docks?

Hi forum,

I'm considering buying a house that's close to the line that serves Hull Docks (beyond where it splits from the passenger route).
Can anybody give me a rough idea of how much traffic it gets?

Watching the occasional train trundle past sounds attractive. Being woken by a 66 at 5am every day, less so

Thanks for the obvious (not sarcastic). I hadn't looked there because I know a lot of freight is timetabled but doesn't run, but actually... looking back at what has actually run over the last week it's been 1-2 trains/day. That's not bad.

I live near the line and I barely hear anything from it, so I don't imagine it'll be much of a disturbance for you either.

...I know a lot of freight is timetabled but doesn't run, but actually... looking back at what has actually run over the last week it's been 1-2 trains/day. That's not bad.

Several times a year, a shipload of biomass arrives at Hull (instead of Immingham) destined for Drax;
which can temporarily triple the number of freight movements, but only for a week or two at a time.
